I acknowledge and pay my respects to the custodians of the land on which I work, live and raise my family, the Whadjuk Nyoongar and their Elders past, present and emerging.
Penned by Melbourne composer Mark Ford for the St Leonard’s College Year 6 Band and it’s director Mr Tarko Sibbel. The piece uses the first 6 notes of the Bb Concert scale with an option of a couple of opportunities for lead players to expand out to an octave. The quasi drum kit part is separated out so that the young musicians can share in its overall construction. A fun addition to any young band program.
