This work is co-composed by Chiara Minotto and Lachie Eggert and we are thrilled to have it in our catalogue. Perfect for High School Big Bands, this work features every section and is super "floaty" before building to a stronger sound in the middle section. Solos abound but this one will be a showcase for your piano player.
"Helio" was written for (and about) our good friend Sarah Morrison. The title is in reference to a Heliotrope, which is a plant that grows towards the sun. We thought this title represented both Sarah, as well as the light-hearted nature of the piece. When playing this piece - make sure you have fun! - Chiara Minotto & Lachie Eggert
