Description
---------------------------
This work was composed to explore a variety of styles in one work. The Flight of the Wedge-Tailed Eagle was written to represent the journey of Australia’s largest eagle on a circuit around Australia. The journey takes in seven breath-taking landscapes and environments: Blue Mountains, Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, The Bungle Bungles, Uluru, The Twelve Apostles, and The Three Sisters.
Each section represents a musical depiction of the landscape as seen from the Wedge-Tailed Eagle’s perspective.
