Description
---------------------------
Animo et Labore is Latin for “with determination and effort” - a sentiment that resonates deeply with our personal and shared musical journeys, and more broadly with life itself. Making and playing music brings immense joy, but it is through determination and effort that our music and our musicianship will continue to grow and improve.
This piece was written for my son, Alexander, and reflects his own musical journey. It also draws on the motto of his school, Epping West Public School and was composed with his future progression to Senior Band firmly in mind. - D.C.
