Written for the 2026 "Made In Australia" Project and Premiered by Grainger Wind Symphony
"Resurgence Overture" is a musical expression of interests or ideas going through a period of renewed growth or revival after a time of inactivity or decline. This exquisite concert opener/closer features a majestic opening followed up by a lyrical andante section that includes many solo opportunities to showcase the players' musicality. The piece closes with spirited march section and a powerful chord to finish, resulting in a captivating performance fit for any mature ensemble.
