"Matilda Bay is across the road from my workplace. The iconic “Blue Boathouse” is around the bay. The light dapples off the water; echoing, blinking, flashing and playing like the dolphins who sometimes swim up the river. It is a tranquil place; the home of the Wagyl of the Noongar people, who was responsible for the creation of this beautiful place. It is a sacred place of peace." - Alan Lourens
